Freigent in ChatGPT and Claude
What’s new in the plugin
Set it up: carriers · brokers · how it works

Safer sends
- Accepting an offer from chat now needs a draft Freigent issued and you approved. An accept the assistant decides on its own is refused. For brokers, the draft card also shows what FMCSA says about the carrier, or that the carrier is not on your list yet, before you send; the call is yours.
- A reply goes only to the broker or carrier on file for the offer, or someone at their company. If the newest email on the thread came from anyone else, Freigent sends nothing and tells you who it was.
- Your minimum (carriers) and your ceiling (brokers) win over older counters: a counter past them is refused, and a booking already recorded is not overwritten by a later guess. A broker counter at or above the carrier's own ask is refused.
- Sign-in tokens for ChatGPT and Claude are stored only as hashes.
Negotiation
- If the broker goes quiet after your counter, a follow-up repeats your counter instead of coming down.
- When an offer is good enough to accept, the offer card says why.
- The counter math names the price you would accept without countering and puts the walk-away number on its own line.
- The offer list says which Freigent account is connected.
Setup and help
- Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and Codex can sign in to Freigent too. There is no key to paste.
- A setup page with the ChatGPT, Claude and editor steps. On a phone, it gives you a link to open on your computer.
- Personal accounts can see and disconnect their ChatGPT and Claude connections in Freigent, under "ChatGPT and Claude".
- Help articles: install in ChatGPT, install in Claude, and what to do when it says not connected or shows the wrong account.
- Questions about Freigent get an answer from the help documentation even when its search is degraded, never a raw error.
Listing
- The plugin listing says only what the tools do: your own lane history counts once you have five bookings on the lane through Freigent.
Nothing is sent until you approve it. Questions: [email protected].
